Important Schemes with Brief Description :

    1. Mid Day Meal Scheme:-

Under Centrally Sponsored Mid-Day Meal, government / recognized minority / Madrasa schools, students are given snacks and afternoon cooked meals for classes 01 to 08.Egg / Fruit is also given as nutritional supplement for three days a week. With the introduction of the Mid-Day Meal Scheme, the drop rate of children in schools has decreased and children are also protected from malnutrition. At the same time it has proved to be effective in establishing social values ​​and equality among children. In this program, children of all classes sit together and eat one kind of food. This scheme has been effective in eliminating gender discrimination, because the scheme ensures uniform availability of food to both boys and girls.

Eligibility:-The benefits of Mid Day Meal Scheme is availed by all children from 01 to 08 enrolled in Government / recognized Minorities / Madrasa schools. They are provided with snack and afternoon cooked food.

    1. School Kit:-

Children studying in government School from Class 1 to 8 are given free teaching aids (notebook , pen, pencil, rubber ,cutter, book, school bag, shoes and socks). Under the free school kit scheme children get Rs 590/-each from class 1 to 5 and Rs715/- from class 6 to 8.

Eligibility:-The benefit of the free school kit scheme is given to those children whose average attendance is at least 50 percent in the school.

    1. Mukhyamantri Vidya Lakshmi Yojna:-

Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe girl students studying in government schools are deposited Rs 2000/- in their bank accounts. This amount can be drawn after completing class 8 and being enrolled in class 9. In case of not fulfilling the eligibility criteria of the scheme , the account holder shall not be entitled to draw the amount and the amount will be deposited in the concerned treasury.

Eligibility:-Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribe students studying in government schools are opened a Savings Bank Account in the nearest nationalized / rural bank and deposited an amount of 2000.00 rupees on their account in the form of term deposits.
