E-Governance

The e-District is a comprehensive and web enabled service portal that acts as an electronic gateway into the Government’s portfolio of services. It is an end-to-end integrated solution which caters to the needs of various departments of Jharkhand state and provides various e-Governance services to its citizens. This system enables the people in rural areas to have electronically/digitally signed certificates for birth, death, income, residential, castes, etc, at common service centres (CSC) located at Panchayat Bhawans and other locations, also known as Pragya Kendras. Other services like Revenue Courts, Electoral services, Consumer court services can be accessed by external links as provided on the home page of the website http://jharsewa.jharkhand.gov.in while rest of the services viz. Pension (Old-Age/Widow Pension/Handicapped Pension), RTI and Grievance Redressal, Government dues and recoveries will be introduced in a phased manner. The web based application is available at http://jharsewa.jharkhand.gov.in
