Under “Birsa Irrigation Well Promotion Mission” with convergence of MNREGA and State Plan item, well construction work is to be done in all blocks of Bokaro district in mission mode. Irrigation wells will be constructed in rural areas according to utility and its slope, i.e. areas whose slope is less than 3% and the soil layer is suitable for construction of wells, such areas will be identified on priority basis and survey work will be completed.
